Troy, NY – The Vassar College Women's Tennis team had four student-athletes earn All-Conference accolades it was revealed on Monday and Head Coach Marty Perry and assistant coach Sara Steinberg were tabbed the league's Coaching Staff of the Year. Juniors Erin McCusker (Norton, MA) and Iris Li (Palo Alto, CA) were named First Team All-Liberty League in singles play, while Macey Dowd (Orica, CA) earned a Second Team singles nod. In doubles play, McCusker and Sofie Shen (New York, NY) were named First Team with Dowd and Li earning a Second Team selection.
 
McCusker continued a standout career for the Brewers in 2024-25 playing out of the top singles flight, earning First Team All-League recognition for the third straight season. McCusker, who was named the 2024 Liberty League Player of the Year, finished the 2025 spring season with a 10-6 record playing out of the top flight. McCusker closed the spring with four wins in her last six decisions and posted a 6-1 record against Liberty League opponents. McCusker was named the Liberty League Singles Performer of the Week on both March 3 and April 14.
 
Li had a breakout season for the Brewers as a junior and collects All-Liberty League honors for the second time in her career. Li led the Brewers with 14 singles victories playing out of the second position and recorded a 14-2 record. Li won seven of her last eight decisions of the season, including a tight 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) win against Skidmore on May 4 that clinched the Liberty League Championship for the Brewers.
 
Li won 11 straight matches from March 10 through April 27 and led the Liberty League in second singles victories. Li was named the Liberty League Singles Performer of the Week on five occasions, including each of the last three reporting periods of the season.

Dowd also collects All-League honors for the third straight season after earning First Team honors in both 2023 and 2024. Dowd finished with the third highest number of singles wins on the team in 2024-25, posting an 11-6 record during the spring. Dowd won matches at three different singles positions, including a 6-5 mark at the third slot and a 4-1 record at the fourth position. Dowd went 7-1 in her last eight decisions and won nine straight decisions from March 22 through April 27.
 
In doubles play, McCusker and Shen earn First Team honors for the second time as a unit after landing on the First Team in 2023. The duo posted a 7-6 record playing out of the top flight for the Brewers in spring, including a 4-3 mark against Liberty League rivals. Vassar's top pair finished the season seventh in the Liberty League in winning percentage and in their final decision of the year scored a 6-0 victory over Hunter in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. McCusker and Shen were named Liberty League Doubles Team of the Week on April 14.
 
Dowd and Li, who were also named Second Team All-Conference in 2023 as a doubles team, collect postseason honors for the second time as a team in 2025. The duo posted an impressive 13-4 record for Vassar playing out of the second position, including a 6-1 mark in conference matches. Dowd and Li won seven of their final 10 decisions of the season, including a 6-1 victory against Hunter in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. Dowd and Li were recognized as the Liberty League Doubles Team of the Week on three occasions during the 2024-25 season.
 
Perry headlines the Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year and is honored for the third time in four seasons as the Vassar Head Coach. Perry has guided the Brewers to at least 12 wins in each of his four seasons and teamed with Steinberg over the last two campaigns has guided Vassar to a 31-10 overall record and a 15-1 mark against conference rivals. The Brewers finished the 2024-25 season with a 7-1 mark against league rivals and earned the second seed in the conference championship.
 
Vassar rounded out the 204-25 year with a 15-6 overall record, including a 7-1 mark against conference rivals. The Brewers won their ninth Liberty League title, made their 11^th appearance in the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the Second Round for the seventh time in 2025.
