Saturday's win evens Vassar's record at 2-2 overall on the season, while Occidental slips to 3-3 through six matches.
Doubles
- The Brewers earned the doubles point on Saturday with victories at the second and third positions.
- Macey Dowd (Orinda, CA) and Iris Li (Palo Alto, CA) cruised to a 6-1 victory at second doubles for the Brewers.
- At the third position, Elyse Duley (Charlotte, NC) and Ananya Krishnan (Chesterbrook, PA) scored a 6-2 victory.
- Vassar's top pair of Erin McCusker (Norton, MA) and Maddie Kirby (Davidson, NC) battled hard in a tight 7-5 defeat.
Singles
- Lee moved up to the second position on Saturday and clinched the victory for the Brewers with a hard fought 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 triumph to move to 3-1 on the season in singles play.
- Sofie Shen (New York, NY) picked up her first victory of the spring in a 6-3, 6-1 decision at fifth singles.
- Playing at the sixth spot, Duley outlasted the opponent from Occidental by scores of 4-6, 6-4, 6-0 to improve to 2-0 in the spring.
- At the top spot, McCusker dropped a marathon 5-7, 7-6 (3), 7-10 decision.
- Dowd battled in a hard fought 6-4, 3-6, 1-6 decision at he third position.
- At four, Kirby was outlasted 4-6, 7-6 (3), 6-7 (4).

- Vassar returns to action on Monday when it takes on Sewanee at the Mountaingate Country Club.
