Clinton, NY – The Vassar College Men's Squash team returned to the court on Saturday and split a pair of matches, toppling Colgate 9-0 and suffering a 9-0 setback on the road at Hamilton. In the victory over Colgate, each of the nine individual matches finished 3-0 in favor of Vassar.
Saturday's split moves Vassar to 5-7 overall on the season and the win over Colgate halts a six-match skid for the Brewers.
For The Brewers – Hamilton
- The Brewers were unable to win a game in the opening match of the day.
- Jarid Haslinger (Los Angeles, CA) battled for the Brewers at two in a 7-11, 5-11, 5-11 defeat.
- At one, Konstantinos Georgallides (Limassol, Cyprus) competed in an 8-11, 4-11, 7-11 contest.
- Luke Chen (Bellevue, WA) was in action at five and suffered a 3-11, 7-11, 7-11 defeat.
- Gabriel Lugo (East Hartford, CT) took the court at seven and competed in a 6-11, 5-11, 6-11 decision.
For The Brewers – Colgate
- The Brewers won all nine of the matches 3-0 enroute to the sweep.
- Georgallides took the match at one by scores of 11-4, 11-6, 11-5.
- At two, Haslinger dispatched the opponent from Colgate by scores of 11-3, 11-4, 11-3.
- Kyle Benson (Bronx, NY) found the win column at three in an impressive 11-7, 11-3, 11-4 triumph.
- Chen moved up to the four position in the second match of the day and scored an 11-2, 11-2, 11-6 victory.
- Razaan Lalji (West Vancouver, BC) was in action at the fifth slot and scored an 11-5, 11-3, 11-6 victory.
- Lugo took an 11-4, 11-3, 11-1 victory playing at six for the Brewers.
- Daniel Smith (Littleton, CO) was victorious at seven, easing to an 11-2, 11-3, 11-5 victory.
- Joseph Donato (Staten Island, NY) was triumphant at the eighth slot with an 11-2, 11-3, 11-7 win.
- Rounding out the Vassar lineup was Wyatt Kern (Falmouth, ME) who tallied an 11-4, 11-7, 11-8 victory at nine.

- Vassar closes out the regular season on February 1 when it travels to Haverford to take on the host Fords and Hobart.
