Saturday's win pushes Vassar to 6-1-2 overall on the season and 2-0-0 in Liberty League play, while Union drops to 4-2-3 overall and 0-1-1 in conference competition.
How It Happened
- The Brewers wasted little time getting on the board with Rodriguez tallying in the 14th minute.
- Rodriguez buried a feed from Jessica Bowman (Larchmont, NY) in the top right corner at 13:49 for the all the scoring that Vassar would need in the game.
- Rodriguez would put another shot on target in the 32nd minute and Grace Romano (Bordentown, NJ) had a shot denied with just under 10 minutes left before halftime.
- Vassar closed the opening 45 minutes with a 7-1 advantage in shots.
- First half corner kicks went to the Brewers by a 4-3 count.
- Reigrut made a single save before halftime to keep the Garnet Chargers off the board.
- Clinging to a one-goal lead, Vassar was held without a shot after the intermission.
- Union outshot Vassar 5-0 in the second half, but managed just one shot on frame, which Reigrut turned aside just over 10 minutes into the frame.

For The Brewers
- Rodriguez became the team's eighth different player with at least two goals on the season and the fourth different player with a game winning tally.
- Bowman picked up her third assist in the last two games and moves into a tie for the team lead in helpers with four on the season.
