Middletown, CT - The Vassar College Men's Cross Country team placed fourth out of eight scoring teams at the Cardinal Invitational on the campus of Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon. Senior Jose Magana recorded a sixth place overall finish to lead the way for the Brewers.

VASSAR'S TOP FINISHERS

• Magana scored a sixth place finish and crossed the finish line in 25:10.7 followed by sophomore Sean Miller in 14th position in a career-best time of 25:25.7.
• Senior Tim Buchan tallied a 28th place finish in a time of 25:50.9 along with sophomore Max Frazee placing 36th overall in a collegiate best mark of 26:08.4.
• Senior Jason Cirrito crossed the finish line in a personal-best 26:22.3 for a 42nd place finish while classmate Kai Chang was 44th overall in a time of 26:28.0.
• Junior Arlo Rucker placed 45th with a time of 26:33.2 followed by senior Jackson Bernreuter closing out the top-50 finishers for Vassar in a personal-best time of 26:44.4.
