Canton, NY - The Vassar College Men's Cross Country team raced to third place finish out of nine league foes at the Liberty League Championship on the campus of St. Lawrence University on Saturday afternoon. Senior
Jose Magana earned All-Liberty League Second Team honors while sophomore
Sean Miller earned All-Liberty League Honorable Mention status.
Vassar's Top Finishers
- Magana earned a 12th place finish to lead the way for Vassar as he crossed the finish line in 25:26.8 for Second Team recognition.
- Miller recorded a 16th place finish for Honorable Mention honors in a time of 25:44.5 followed by sophomore Max Frazee finishing 26th in 26:04.8.
- Senior Tim Buchan finished 29th overall with a time of 26:20.7 along with classmate Kai Chang scoring a 31st place finish in 26:22.5.
- Senior Jason Cirrito and junior Arlo Rucker finished back-to-back as Cirrito finished 34th in 26:29.8 followed by Rucker in 35th with a time of 26:30.0.
- Senior Levi Lilienthal tallied a 41st place finish in 26:45.0 while senior Jackson Bernreuter closed the top-50 finishers for Vassar in a time of 27:05.7.
