Men’s Cross Country Finishes 15th at the Paul Short Run

Magana leads the way with a 17th place overall finish

Bethlehem, PA - The Vassar College Men's Cross Country finished 15th out of 41 scoring teams at the 8K Paul Short Run (White Race) on Saturday afternoon at Lehigh University. Senior Jose Magana led the way for the Brewers with a 17th place finish out of 373 total finishers.

VASSAR'S TOP FINISHERS

  • Magana secured the top finish for Vassar with a 17th place finish in a career-best time of 25:05.5 followed by sophomore Sean Miller finishing in 29th place with a personal-best time of 25:15.9.
  • Sophomore Max Frazee crossed the finish line in 88th position in a career-best mark of 25:57.1 before senior Kai Chang scored a top 150 finish with a time of 26:31.4.
  • Senior Tim Buchan finished shortly behind Chang with a time of 26:32.3 and junior Arlo Rucker finished in the top 200 after crossing the finish line in 26:49.4.
  • Senior Levi Lilienthal was the next finisher for the Brewers in 26:51.6 along with classmate Jason Cirrito with a time of 27:10.2.
  • Senior Jackson Bernreuter and junior Davis Anderson closed the race for Vassar as Bernreuter crossed the finish line in 27:31.1 and Anderson finished with a time of 28:03.1.
