Men's Cross Country Scores Two Top-15 Finishes at the Conn College Invitational

Magana leads the way with a top-35 finish in the Blue Race

New London, CT - The Vassar College Men's Cross Country team earned two top-15 team finishes at the Conn College Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Brewers finished 15th of 22 teams in the White Race while VC earned a 13th place finish out of 35 scoring teams in the Blue Race.

Vassar's Top Finishers
  • Senior Jackson Bernreuter was the top finisher for Vassar as he crossed the finish line in 64th place out of 271 total finishers in 26:49.5.
  • Sophomore Davis Anderson was a top-130 finisher with a time of 27:51.2 followed by first year Oscar Olson Gross in 28:13.3.
  • First year Patrick Wang posted a season-best time of 28:44.7 along with junior Xavier Silverio finishing with a time of 29:06.2.
  • First year Zeke DeMercurio closed out the Vassar finishers with a time of 32:17.5

  • Senior Jose Magana led the way for Vassar with a 32nd place finish out of 269 total finishers with a career-best time of 24:51.8.
  • Sophomore Sean Miller posted a 46th place finish in a collegiate-best time of 25:07.5 followed by sophomore Max Frazee in 82nd position in a career-best 25:51.6.
  • Senior Kai Chang and classmate Jason Cirrito recorded two top-120 finishes as Chang crossed the finish line in a collegiate-best 26:15.4 and Cirritio finished with a career-best time of a 26:16.5.
  • Senior Tim Buchan finished in a time of 26:19.4 followed by senior Levi Lilienthal in a career-best time of 26:24.0 and junior Arlo Rucker crossing the finish line in 26:40.1.
