POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - The Vassar College Men's Tennis team pushed its winning streak to five matches on Saturday afternoon as the Brewers defeated St. Lawrence 7-2 at Josselyn Tennis Courts. The Brewers improved to 10-3 overall and 4-0 in conference play while the Saints move to 5-5 overall and 1-2 in Liberty League action.

Ethan Mantell opened doubles with 8-4 victory over John Hill-Edgar and Edvin Strandberg at three while freshmen duo Miles Sondergaard-Jensen and
Russell Oh battled to a 8-7 (7-4) win at two. Rookie pairing
Fernando Bauermeister and
Nolan Kubiak tallied a hard-fought 8-7 (7-4) win over Ben Moolman and Nathan Turtledove.
At fourth singles, Balon earned a 6-0, 6-4 win over Broderick Pinto followed by Cole Hamilton winning 6-3, 6-4 over Mantell at five. Six saw Sondergaard-Jensen triumph 6-2, 6-3 against Moolman before Strandberg winning 7-5, 6-1 against sophomore
Arnav Agostinho at three. The top flight saw Bauermeister defeat Turtledove 6-2, 6-1 while junior
Benjamin Almquist tallied a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Adam Heilbronner.
Vassar heads to Ithaca next Saturday for a 11:00 a.m. match followed by a meeting with Hobart on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
