Box Score ITHACA, NY - The Vassar College Men's Tennis team won its sixth straight match on Saturday afternoon as the Brewers triumphed 8-1 over Ithaca on the road. The Brewers improve to 11-3 overall and 5-0 in Liberty League action while the Bombers fall to 6-8 overall and 1-5 in conference play.

Freshman pair Russell Oh and Miles Sondergaard Jensen won 8-6 over Nicolas Luis and Tyler Del Zoppo at two while freshman duo Fernando Bauermeister and Nolan Kubiak earned a hard-fought 8-7 (7-5) victory over Siddharth Vaada and Carlos Hernandez at first singles. At three, freshman Ethan Mantell and sophomore James Balon cruised over Jacob Wachs and Ean Lantzy 8-0.

Mantell earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory at four over Del Zoppo followed by a win by sophomore Arnav Agostinho 6-3, 6-2 over Wachs at third singles. Freshman Sigmund Winiecki triumphed 6-4, 6-3 against Lantzy at six and Hernandez defeated Sondergaard Jensen at five 2-6, 5-7. At one, Bauermeister recorded a strong 3-6, 6-1, 3-6 win against Luis while junior Benjamin Almquist won 5-7, 6-2, 1-0 (10-6) against Vaada.

Vassar returns to the courts tomorrow morning against Hobart at 10:00 a.m.
