LOS ANGELES, C.A. - The Vassar College Women's Tennis team tallied its second straight win in California on Tuesday afternoon as the Brewers defeated Occidental 6-3. The Brewers improve to 5-2 overall on the season whjile the Tigers fall to 2-2.

Tatum Blalock and sophomore
Elyse Duley took the first win of the day in doubles with a 8-1 decision over Emma Silber and Lillian Lin. Andei Fukushige and Sarah Fleming tallied a win at the top flight over junior
Sofie Shen and rookie
Erin McCusker 8-2 while sophomore
Macey Dowd and freshman
Iris Li earned an 8-2 win at two over Alexis Matabuena and Mathilde Depery.
In singles action, Fukushige won 6-4, 6-1 over McCusker at first singles while Fleming triumphed 6-2, 7-5 over Blalock at two. Dowd tallied a win at three for Vassar in a 7-5, 6-1 win over Matabuena while Shen defeated Silber 6-2, 6-3 at fifth singles. At six, Duley recorded a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Depery followed by a strong win for Li at fourth singles over Chun 6-3, 5-7, 6-2.
Vassar will play its third of five matches scheduled in California against Caltech today at 3:00 p.m. PST.
