Box Score LANCASTER, P.A. - The Vassar College Women's Tennis team won its third straight match on Saturday as the Brewers defeated Franklin and Marshall 8-1 on the road. The Brewers improve to 3-1 on the season while the Diplomats fall to 0-2.

Junior Sofie Shen and freshman Erin McCusker earned the victory at the top flight of doubles 8-2 over Cassidy Landau and Sammi Perry. The second flight saw sophomore Macey Dowd and rookie Iris Li triumph 8-5 against Jenna Harrison and Rebecca Billick. Senior Tatum Blalock and sophomore Elyse Duley completed the doubles sweep at three over Amelia Squires and Pressley Daggett 8-1.

Landau earned a 6-3, 6-1 win at the top singles over Blalock while McCusker talled a 7-5, 6-1 over Harrison at two. Three saw Dowd triumph 6-3, 6-2 over Billick and Li defeated Perry 6-1, 6-0 at four. Freshman Ananya Krishnan earned a 6-2, 6-0 win over Hayley Bidwell at five followed by Duley winning 6-4, 4-6, 10-8 at six over Squires.

The Brewers will return to the courts tomorrow morning against Swarthmore at 11:00 a.m.
