Andrew Kim finished with 10 kills and 10 digs for the Brewers they improve to 6-1 on the season with the win while the Yellowjackets fall to 6-4 overall.

Jacob Kim combined for a block to give the Brewers an early lead. The Yellowjackets cut the lead down to four on a winner from Daniel Nguyen at 14-10 but Vassar went on five point run from two kills from A. Kim and one from senior
Adam Gulick to extend its lead to 20-13. Following a VC service error, the Brewers tallied the final five points of the set as Gulick and freshman
Tristan Christofferson combined for a block to seal the first set victory.
A service ace from J. Kim pushed the Vassar lead to 10-6 to cap a three point run and an ace from Gulick pushed Vassar out to a 15-9 advantage. The Yellowjackets tallied four straight points to trim the lead to two following a kill and an ace from Ian Wagenhauser. Back-to-back winners from Wagenhauser got Randolph-Macon within two at 21-19 but a kill apiece from Christofferson and Gulick pushed the lead back to four. Sophomore
Billy Fan buried the set clinching kill for the Brewers as they took a 25-22 second set victory.
Randolph-Macon held an early 5-2 lead in the third set as a block from Wagenhauser and Phillip Van Essendelft got the Yellowjackets out early. Kolby Gibson's winner kept Randolph-Macon up two at 8-6 before Vassar scored five straight, led by a winner from Christofferson and an ace from J. Kim to go ahead 11-8. The Yellowjackets got the set tied back at 11 as the two teams traded points throughout the middle of the set. Randolph-Macon scored three straight to go ahead 19-17 on a kill from Nguyen but two kills from junior
Vaughn Ramsey got the Brewers ahead 21-20. VC pushed its lead to 24-21 on a kill apiece from van Beveren and Ramsey while the two also combined for a block as the Brewers took the third set and earned a 3-0 match victory.
A. Kim tallied 10 kills and 10 digs while Gulick buried eight winners along with two blocks and four digs. Fan finished the night with six kills and six digs while van Beveren recorded five kills and three blocks and Christofferson finished an all-around night with two kills and five blocks. J. Kim handed out a game-high 29 assists and chipped in two aces, four digs and two blocks.
Wagenhauser earned a game-high 13 kills and added six digs, an ace and a block. Gibson had five kills, four digs and a block while Nguyen buried four kills and added a block and four digs. Jarrett Carrano tallied a team-high 23 assists and also had five digs.
VC will return to action tomorrow afternoon with a tri-match against Ramapo and Eastern Nazerene. The contests in Mahwah, NJ are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. against the Roadrunners and 2:00 p.m. against the Lions.
