Middletown, CT – The Vassar College Men's Squash team took to the road Sunday afternoon to take on #20 Middlebury and Wesleyan, falling to the Panthers 9-0 and the host Cardinals 9-0. The Brewers will return home to Kenyon Hall on December 2.
Sunday's results see Vassar's record move to 4-4 through the season's first eight matches.
For The Brewers – Middlebury
- Rithik Jalali (Dubai, UAE) was in action at the top position for the Brewers against the Panthers and competed in a 6-11, 3-11, 7-11 decision against Caleb Boateng.
- First Year Jay Vashisht (Short Hills, NJ) was topped 3-1 at two for Vassar, battling hard for the Brewers in a 9-11, 11-9, 4-11, 6-11 decision.
- Konstantinos Georgallides (Limassol, Cyprus) suffered a hard fought 4-11, 8-11, 5-11 decision at three.
- Patrick Looby (Westport, CT) was in action at seven for Vassar in a 7-11, 4-11, 6-11 decision.
- Kyle Benson (Bronx, NY) battled for Vassar at eight in an 8-11, 8-11, 2-11 defeat.
- First Year Gabriel Lugo (East Hartford, CT) took a game for the Brewers in a 3-1 loss, a match that finished 3-11, 11-2, 6-11, 9-11.
For The Brewers – Wesleyan
- Jalali battled hard again at one for the Brewers against the host Cardinals in a tight 9-11, 7-11, 11-13 decision.
- Vashist took another game for Vassar at two, but fell in a hard fought 8-11, 11-5, 9-11, 8-11 defeat.
- Luke Chen (Bellevue, WA) competed well for Vassar at four, falling to Wesleyan's Preston Crawford by scores of 7-11, 2-11, 9-11.
- Razaan Lalji (West Vancouver, BC) was outlasted by Jack Lungstrum at five in a marathon 12-14, 7-11, 5-11 decision.
- Jarid Haslinger (Los Angeles, CA) suffered a 4-11, 1-11, 10-12 defeat at six for the Brewers.

- Vassar will look to get back into the win column following Thanksgiving when it plays host to Connecticut College and Haverford on December 2.
