CANTON, NY – It was another outstanding afternoon of action for the Vassar women's tennis team as they posted a 7-2 Liberty League road victory at St. Lawrence University on Sunday. The victory moves the 31st-ranked Brewers to 10-1 overall and 3-0 in league play. The Saints are now 5-5 with a 1-3 Liberty League mark.
Doubles action opened with a clean-sweep for the Brewers, opened by an 8-1 victory for sophomore

Tatum Blalock made it a 3-0 lead with a hard-fought 8-7 (7-3) win.
Singles action opened with a victory by Kizilbash at five as she defeated Styliades, 6-0, 6-1. The Brewers clinched the match victory at four as Stavropoulos notched a 6-0, 6-0 win against Emily Harris. Shen then made it a 6-0 score for the visitors, earning the 6-0, 6-2 win from three.
At one, SLU's Sullivan posted a win by retirement over Blalock, but the Brewers bounced back at six as Duley defeated Dadoly, 6-0, 6-1. The final match of the day was a tough one against Dowd and the Saints' Caitlyn Avery. Dowd earned the 6-3 win in the first set, while Avery countered, 6-4 in the second. The Saints player grinded out the win in the third, completing the victory by a 10-4 margin.
Vassar returns to the courts on Saturday, opening its league slate at home as they host Ithaca at Josselyn Courts at 1pm. The Saints are back in action on Saturday as well with a 10am road match at Bard.
