POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Vassar College men's squash team shouldered a tough 9-0 loss to Brown University on Saturday afternoon at Kenyon Courts. The #33 Brewers fall to 3-6 on the young season with the defeat.
Samuel Lew got the Bears on the board from the third spot on the ladder, earning an 11-0, 11-3, 11-4 win against rookie
Razaan Lalji. Next up saw Andrew Willwerth post an 11-2, 11-3, 11-3 win over VC freshman
Luke Chen from five. From seven, Euan Luke notched a hard-fought 13-11, 11-9, 13-11 win over Brewers rookie
Kyle Benson.
From two, Blake Roshkoff had an 11-3, 11-3, 11-3 win against senior captain
Sameer Mustafa, while from six, Sam Devorsetz notched an 11-7, 11-5, 11-4 victory over sophomore
Jarid Haslinger. Nine was an 11-1, 11-4, 11-1 win for Nuowen Lei against rookie
Wyatt Kern, while Ahmed Amin recorded an 11-5, 11-7, 11-5 victory over junior captain

Raphael Benamran was an 11-9, 11-7, 13-11 victor against Vassar sophomore
Patrick Looby from four, while Andrew Herring closed out match play from eight with an 11-4, 11-5, 11-7 win against senior

Vassar is back in action on Sunday, hosting Hobart at 10am at Kenyon Courts. The Brewers close out the weekend slate at 12pm, welcoming Wesleyan.
