TROY, N.Y. - Vassar College Men's Cross Country freshman Arlo Rucker (Alameda, CA) picked up his first Liberty League Rookie of the Week honor on Monday afternoon.

Rucker achieved his best finish of the season at the ECAC Championship on Saturday as he crossed the finish line in seventh place in a time of 29:18.4. The freshman helped Vassar to a 1st place finish as the Brewers defeated the second place Hunter College by 50 points to earn the team victory.

Vassar returns to action on Saturday at St. Lawrence University when the Brewers race in the NCAA Mideast Regional.
