WORCESTER, MA - Powered by a doubles sweep and three singles victories, the Vassar women's tennis team posted a 4-1 victory at Division I College of the Holy Cross on Sunday afternoon at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility.

Macey Dowd notched a close 8-7 victory against Meg O'Melveny and Caroline Carlson.
In singles play, Stavropoulos notched the 6-1, 6-2 win against Courtney Kallas from three, while Kizilbash was a 6-2, 6-1 winner against Chilton from four. Duley was then a 6-1, 6-1 winner at five, besting Beck. The only other finished match came at six as Pihlstrom suffered a tough 6-4, 6-1 loss to Caroline Fredey.
With the match decided, the first and second singles matches were suspended with Shen facing DeNucci and Dowd taking on Nagarkatti.
The Brewers have concluded their season for Fall 2021 and will return in the spring with more action, including the start of Liberty League play.
