ANNANDALE-on-HUDSON, NY – It was a clean sweep for the Vassar College men's squash team as the Brewers defeated Siena College and Swarthmore College by 9-0 margins at the Bard College Round Robin on Saturday. The victories move the Brewers to 3-2 on the young season.
Following a 9-0 win over Siena, VC went to battle against the Garnet of Swarthmore. From the top of the ladder, rookie
Sameer Mustafa posted an 11-2, 11-5, 11-2 win against Yichuan Yan. In the second position, junior
Milind Joshi battled Robert Gunn and earned a hard-fought 31 (11-7, 9-11, 11-1, 11-9) victory.
At three, sophomore
Henry Mitchell bested Eddie Wu by a 3-0 (11-6, 11-4, 11-1) margin, while from four, freshman
Matthew Hein was a 3-0 (11-4, 11-6, 11-1) winner over James Sutton. Sophomore
Reese Collins then earned a 3-0 (11-3, 11-5, 11-3) victory against Paris Shan at five, followed by a 3-0 (11-8, 11-6, 11-5) win by sophomore
Alexander Wisneski from six over Sannan Dhillon.

Max Swan was the winner at seven with a 3-1 (11-3, 6-11, 11-0, 11-5) score, while classmate
William Condon was a 3-0 (11-3, 11-5, 11-4) victor from eight. Sophomore
Jonah Miles wrapped up the match scores with a 3-0 win (11-4, 11-2, 11-1) win against Tamaka Harada.
The Brewers return to action on Sunday in a 1pm match against Colgate to close out action at the Bard Round Robin.
