POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (May 1, 2018) – The VC women's tennis team will travel to Ithaca, NY for the Liberty League Championships, held at Cornell University. Earning a first-round bye, the Brewers will face the winner of Friday's contest between St. Lawrence and RPI.

th career win. Christensen's special day was shared alongside three fellow seniors,
Courtney Geiss, Lauren Difazio, and
Dasha Ivenitsky, who were honored for their commitment to VC tennis.
A Look At The Brewers (13-5, 7-1 Liberty League):
- With the Brewers victory over William Smith, they finished the regular season 7-1 in conference, earning a second seed spot for the Liberty League tournament.
- VC has been dominant in conference doubles action, going 19-5 as a squad.
- This season, the 25 different partner combinations have competed together. In conference play, 11 different duos have performed.
- Duo Dasha Ivenitsky and Sarra Yetka are 5-1 in no. 2 doubles, a conference-best.

A Look At The Saints (9-10, 6-2 Liberty League):
- St. Lawrence is entering this weekend ranked third in the liberty league with a conference win percentage of .750 and a record of 6-2 in conference, dropping only to Vassar and Skidmore.

- The Skidmore duo of Jessica Ampel and Alexa Goldberg, lead the league in doubles with a conference record of 5-0. Following close behind them is Vassar's Dasha Ivenitsky and Sarra Yekta with a 4-1 record.
- In doubles, Tara Edwards and Morgane Flournoy have been dominant all year for Vassar in no. 1 Doubles with a record 3-1. Following close behind them in no. 1 Doubles are Lia Petersen and Emily Wyman with a 5-2 conference record.
- Behind Skidmore College, Vassar has the best conference record, going 34-8 for Singles and 17-4 for Doubles.
- Skidmore is looking for their 8th straight championship.
