SIMSBURY, CT (February 24, 2018) – The Vassar men's squash team earned a 5-4 win over Bryant at the CSA Nationals on Saturday morning.
The Brewers used wins from the top five spots to take down the Bulldogs.
Viraj Nadkarni made a clean sweep of Ravi Rao at No. 1, 11-4, 11-4, 11-3. In the second spot,
Mathieu Rizk grabbed a three-game win, 11-4, 11-5, 11-9. At No. 3,
Caden Gruber forced four games in his 12-10, 10-12, 11-6, 11-5 victory.
Alex Riccio was the clinching match at No. 4 with a four-game win over Michael Gough (11-6, 11-13, 11-9, 11-8). The final Brewer win came from
Isaac Stuart in the fifth spot. The junior won 11-7, 11-7, 11-9 over Nishcay Wadwha.
Vassar closes out action at the CSA Nationals on Sunday against Brandeis at 8:30 a.m.
