Vassar Men's Squash Notes - Northeastern, Conn. College, Lehigh

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (January 22, 2018) – The Vassar men's squash has three home matches this weekend beginning with Northeastern and Connecticut College on Saturday. On Sunday, the Brewers host Lehigh at 1:00 p.m. for Senior Day.

Last Time Out: Vassar went 1-1 last weekend, topping Siena 5-4, but falling to Brandeis 3-4. The top three players for Vassar all went 2-0 on the day with Viraj Nadkarni, Mathieu Rizk, and Caden Gruber all coming through with two wins.

  • Freshman Alex Snape plays as the Camels No. 1 player.
  • The Camels are just 1-5 in true road matches this season.
 
A Look at the Mountain Hawks (1-0):
  • Lehigh ranks 65th according to US Squash.
  •  The Mountain Hawks only match this season was against Siena in November in which they won 7-2.
 
Next up: The Brewers host the 2018 Liberty League Championships next Saturday and Sunday with matches beginning at noon. Each team will play four matches over the two-day weekend.
