POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (April 25, 2017) – The Vassar Women's Tennis team will play its final regular season conference match this Saturday at home against RIT. The squad will celebrate its two seniors in this last home match of the season. Vassar looks to improve to 6-1 in conference with a victory over the Tigers.

Last Time Out: The Brewers had a tough loss last Saturday against conference foe Skidmore. Skidmore is ranked No. 20 in the country and gave Vassar its first conference defeat of the year 7-2.
A Look At The Brewers:
- Vassar comes into this match ranked tied for 40th in the country. The Brewers are additionally ranked 12th in the Northeast region.
- The Brewers have dropped two in a row coming into this weekend, falling to both Skidmore and MIT. However, both these teams are ranked in the top 25 nationally, and Vassar won nine consecutive contests prior to this brief skid.
- Shayna Becker and Tara Edwards won their No. 1 doubles match versus Skidmore's Michelle Fuca and Maddie Benn, 8-6. These opponents were ranked as the No. 6 doubles pair in the region.

- Amelia Ying has done rather well in the number one singles spot, earning a 12-8 overall record this season.
