Vassar saw six different goal scorers during the game, and now have posted 12 players on the roster with a goal with Monica Feeley tallying Monday night. Vassar outshot the Pioneers 18-2 on the evening, while goalkeepers Paige Amico and Liz Rotolo have now combined on four straight shutouts.

A Look At The Brewers (6-1, 0-0 Liberty):
  • Vassar has won six of its first seven games this fall, and Monday night's win marked the 40th career victory for head coach Michael Warari at Vassar. Warari's career mark as Brewer head coach is now 40-21.
  • The Brewers have posted six game-winning goals this season, with six different Vassar players scoring a game-winner thus far this year.
  • VC has chalked up four consecutive shutouts, the first time since the beginning of the 2014 season that has happened. Vassar has never posted five straight shutouts in program history.
  • Sophomore Paige Amico currently has the program's best goals against average over her two seasons with VC, as she has allowed just 1.30 goals a game. Her 18 wins also rank her second all-time in victories behind the 25 from Maggie Brelis '14.
  • Senior Lauren Shumate has played 60 career games with Vassar, and is on pace to break the all-time games played record at Vassar, breaking Jessica Lance and Maura McCarthy's mark of 69.
  • Sophomore Alyssa More is averaging 1.86 points per game so far this season, which is currently tops on the individual season list. The record is 1.56 points per contest set by Tina Caso in 2013.
  • Vassar has scored 31 goals through seven games this year, which is seventh all-time for a season, just 16 scores behind the single-season record of 47 set in 2013.
  • The 12 goal scorers for the Brewers are the most of any Liberty League team thus far this season, two more than the 10 from the University of Rochester.

A Look At The Red Hawks (6-2, 0-0 NJAC):
  • Montclair State comes to Weinberg Field tomorrow night on the heels of back-to-back losses to a pair of Liberty League teams, falling to Skidmore College (3-0) and RPI (1-0) this weekend. MSU hasn't lost three straight regular season games since 2010.
  • The Red Hawks are 6-0 this season when playing in the Garden State, but the Empire State has seen Montclair State fall twice.
  • MSU pressures teams offensively, as the Red Hawks have posted 91 penalty corners this season while allowing just 26.
  • Sophomore Amber Haslett leads the team in goals with nine, as her nine goals are second-most in the NJAC. She's also fifth in points in the conference with 19.
  • Teammate Kaitlyn Struss has posted six goals and dished out three assists, taking a team-best 51 shots on the season.
  • Kelly Watson, who has started three of the eight games this year for the Red Hawks, paces the team with five assists. Her .625 assists per game are fourth-most in the NJAC.
  • Goalkeeper Kaitlin Maguire is second in the conference in GAA with a 1.04 clip, while posting 24 saves this season.
  • Head coach Eileen O'Reilly enters her second season as head coach of the Red Hawks, as she has posted a 21-7 overall record since taking over the program in 2015. Assistant coach Beth Gottung led the team to 201 wins as head coach before becoming an assistant last year.

Against MSU All-Time: The Brewers are 3-3 all-time against Montclair State University, falling last year 3-0 in Montclair, NJ. Before that, Vassar had last played the Red Hawks in 1998, falling 2-1 that year. Vassar is 3-2 at home all-time against the Red Hawks.

Next Up: The Brewers open conference action this Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m., taking on the Saints of St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. Vassar will be looking to snap a 33-game Liberty League road losing streak in the contest.
