RPI led 2-1 after doubles, with wins from Emily Laurilliard and Melanie Frank at one and from Pooja Ganesh and Nisha Rajamohan at three. But the Herons won five of six singles matches to secure the team victory. For the Engineers, Laurilliard was the only one to win, taking No. 2 singles, 6-4, 6-1. Before RPI hosts Vassar for its final match of the regular season, the program will head to Schenectady, NY to face Union College on Friday.
