Last Time Out: The Brewers last took the courts on Feb. 20 in Allentown, PA against the Muhlenberg College Mules, who they breezed by to take 9-0 victory and improve their record to 3-1 overall. The Brewers swept both singles and doubles and sent the Mules off with a 0-2 record on the season.

A Look At The RIT Tigers: The Tigers have seen some mixed results this season. They kicked off their spring season with a 2-1 record at the Daemen-Medialle Invitational, securing them a second-place finish at the competition. They then started the dual match portion of their season with a tough 9-0 loss to Brockport. Freshman Brianna Dimisko was named the Liberty League Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week after her 5-1 performance (2-1 at third singles and 3-0 at second doubles with partner Alyssa Hering) in her first week of competition in the spring.

Previous Meeting: The last time the Brewers and the Tigers faced off, Vassar came out on top with a dominating 9-0 score on the Josselyn Tennis Courts in April 2015.

A Look At The St. Lawrence Saints: The Saints have yet to compete this season after participating in the Mary Hosking Invitational, Canton Classic and Northeast ITA Regional in the fall. They jumpstart their season Saturday when they host the Ithaca College Bombers at 10 a.m., and they begin conference play against the Brewers the next day.

Previous Meeting: Vassar and St. Lawrence most recently met in the Liberty League Championships in May 2015.  The Brewers came out on top, 5-1, and advanced to the Championship game against Skidmore College.

Double Trouble: Vassar women's tennis players Hanna McGuire and Shayna Becker earned a Liberty League Honor Roll distinction last week as the Doubles Team of the Week. They look to continue their success this weekend at Rochester.

Tabbed for Two: The recent Liberty League preseason poll pegged the Brewers for the No. 2 finish in the league. They rank only below the Skidmore College Thoroughbreds, who bested them in the 2015 Liberty League Championship.

Looking Ahead: The Vassar women's tennis team returns home to take on New Paltz at the Josselyn Tennis Courts on Saturday, March 5 at 12 p.m.
