POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (October 11, 2016) – The Vassar College women's volleyball team comes back home on Thursday, October 13 to face off against the Sage Colleges at 7 p.m. in Kenyon Hall. This is the first home match for Vassar since October 1, and will be the second to last time Vassar will play in Kenyon Hall in the regular season.

Last Time Out: The Brewers took down Wellesley 3-1, winning three straight sets after falling in the first 15-25. Vassar sophomore Devan Gallagher chalked up a match-best 17 kills, while freshman Jane McLeod notched her fourth double-double of the season with 15 kills and 16 digs.

A Look At The Brewers (17-5, 7-1 Liberty):

• The Brewers have won 15 of their last 17 matches, dating back to September 9. VC's only losses have come to Rochester Institute of Technology (Sept. 17) and Stevens (Oct. 5).
• On the season, the Brewers have earned 984 kills in comparison to their opponents 754 finishes.
• Jane McLeod and Devan Gallagher lead the Brewers in kills with 264 and 256, respectively.
• Vassar is currently tied with Clarkson for first in the Liberty League conference. Both teams sit at 7-1 in conference play, however the Brewers hold the tiebreaker due to a victory over Clarkson.
• The Brewers lead the conference in hitting percentage (.224), assists (11.73/s), kills (12.62/s), and aces (2.49/s).
• Vassar's Annie MacMillan leads the Liberty League in assists with 10.22 per set.
• The Brewers went 3-1 in the last two weeks in non-conference play, and come into this match looking to continue their newly established win-streak.
• This will be Vassar's last non-conference play before a four-game Liberty League weekend October 21-22, which will wrap-up their regular season conference play.

• The Gators are currently fifth in the Skyline Conference standings.
• Rachel Liebig leads the Gators in assists and is third in the Skyline Conference with 7.22 per set.
• Sara Campolieta and Michayla Berard are the top kill-earners on the squad, and they currently have the fifth and seventh most kills per set in the Skyline.
• The Gators are currently on a three-game win streak, defeating MCLA, Purchase College, and Yeshiva University.
• Missy Schneiderman and Katy Rimawi lead the team in service aces with 30 each.
• Schneiderman and Campolieta pace the Gators in digs with 288 and 252, respectively.
• In their victory over Purchase, Sage delivered the 350^th career win for their head coach, Sandy Augstein-Collins.
• Sage is currently ranked second in the Skyline in total blocks
• Sage ranks 45^th nationally in total service aces.

 
Against The Sage Colleges All-Time: Vassar and Sage first played in 1988 and have faced-off 23 times since. The Brewers have won every match they have participated in against Sage for an all-time record of 24-0.
