A Look at the Violets (5-0): NYU has gotten off to a very strong start this fall, holding a 5-0 record in dual meets. The Violets have won all five meets by at least 100 points, as the squad holds one of the deepest rosters you will see in Division III with over 30 athletes listed on the active roster. NYU finished ninth out of 54 teams at last year's NCAA Championships, and will again be a major player in the highly competitive University Athletic Association.

The Violets are coming off a 207-87 win over TCNJ on November 14. Junior diver Nia Sorgente won the three-meter competition (267.23) and placed third in the one-meter contest (262.42). Sorgente recorded NCAA National qualifying scores in both events. Freshman Kelly Ryser, who finished second in the one-meter, recorded her first-career NCAA National qualifying score (266.62).

First B-Cut: Junior Julia Cunningham posted a NCAA B-Cut qualifying mark vs. Rensselaer. Her time of 2:07.24 in the 200 fly was under the qualifying mark of 2:07.58, and Cunningham has now posted her first B-Cut of the season for the second straight year against RPI.
