Men's Squash Downed 7-2 By No. 33 Boston College In Chaffee Cup

PHILADELPHIA, PA (February 17, 2012) -- In the first round of the College Squash Association Team Championships Chaffee Cup (E Division), the Vassar College men's squash team fell 7-2 to the CSA No. 33 Boston College on Friday.

The No. 40 Brewers face No. 36 Kenyon on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the consolation semi-finals.

Vassar's two wins came at the top of the lineup as freshman Michael Sankovich overcame a narrow 14-12 loss in the first game and took the next three games for a tight 12-14,12-10,11-9,12-10 win over Milo Watanabe. At the No. 2 position, junior Jake Harris knocked off Joshua Rosenblat in straights 11-8,11-9,11-6.
