POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (February 12, 2012) -- The Vassar College men's squash team swept the College Squash Association (CSA) No. 59 Siena College and No. 58 Bard College on Sunday at Kenyon Hall.

The Brewers (9-13) compete in the CSA Team Championships on February 17-19.

Against Siena, the Brewers swept the top five positions in straight sets. Jake Harris was dominant at the No. 2 position with an 11-1, 11-1, 11-0 win over Viraj Patel. At No. 7, Yi Tan dropped the first game 11-9 to Sean McKenna but regrouped and took the next three sets 12-10, 11-6, 11-6.

Vassar swept the short-staffed Bard College squad with straight-set wins at all but one position. At No.3, Will English went down 1-0 and 2-1 against Andy Hoffman-Pantzlo, fighting back to even to score at each juncture. Tied 2-2, English took the deciding fifth game 11-3 for a 10-12, 11-8, 9-11, 13-11, 11-3 victory.
