MIDDLETOWN, CT (December 2, 2012) – The Vassar College men's squash team dropped a pair of losses to Colgate University (8-1) and Wesleyan University (9-0) Sunday during the Wesleyan University Round Robin.

Freshman No. 9 Timothy Veit technically got the only win of the day for the Brewers as he won by default against Colgate's Stephen Merwin. "Our young team is mostly new to squash," head coach Jane Parker said. "In each match, they faced very experienced and talented opposition."

The Brewers (1-8) will next travel to New Haven, CT to play Connecticut College at Yale University on December 8.

Sophomore Ryan Kurtzman won the most points against Wesleyan at the No. 8 spot in his loss to Cameron Rahbar (11-4, 11-2, 11-4). Senior Jake Harris and freshman Christian Lyon score eight points in their three-set losses.
