POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (Nov. 15, 2012) – The Vassar College men's squash team will continue their 2012-13 schedule Saturday, November 17, hosting the Liberty League Championships Tournament.

Vassar Men's Notes: Jake Harris was the only Brewer to walk away with a pair of wins last week. Harris defeated Fordham's Jack O'Brien (11-3, 11-4, 11-3) and Haverford's Andy McComas (10-12, 11-7, 11-7, 11-6) in the No. 1 spot.

The second closest match of the day on the men's side was No. 3 Riley McCabe against Fordham's Alex Williams. The match went all five sets. Williams ended the match with an 11-3 set to take the victory over McCabe.

Bard Men's Notes: The Bard College men's squash team was swept in three matches on Saturday at an invitational in Baltimore, hosted by Swarthmore College.

Sophomore John Levering and senior Youseung Kim each won two of the three individual matches.

University of Rochester Men's Notes: In a tournament that featured many of the top squash players from around the country, the University of Rochester squash team sent two players to compete in the Price Bullington Invitational last Saturday and Sunday.

Seniors Andres Duany and Adam Perkiomaki were the two Yellowjacket representatives to compete in the event.

St. Lawrence Men's Notes: The Saints will compete for the first time this season.

Hobart Notes: The Statesmen, who are ranked No. 25 in the College Squash Association preseason rankings, will start the weekend taking on No. 5 Rochester at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Hobart will square off with No. 11 St. Lawrence at 4:30 p.m. to round out Day 1. On Sunday, the Statesmen will take on the Brewers at 9 a.m., and then face Bard at 11 a.m.
