SCHENECTADY, NY (October 9, 2010) -- The Vassar College women's tennis won their first Liberty League dual match with a sweep of Union College Saturday morning.
The Brewers improve to 2-0 and will face RPI in their second dual match of the day this afternoon at 3:30. Union College (0-5) will host RPI this Tuesday, October 12 at 3:30 p.m.
The Brewers started with a sweep of doubles and have not lost a doubles point through their first two dual matches this Fall.
Vassar then swept the six singles positions for the nine point sweep. Sophomore No. 3
Jennifer Ruther is 3-1 in dual match play and defeated Union's Andie Coopersmith 6- 1, 6-2.
