SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (February 28, 2009) -- The Vassar men's tennis team saw its undefeated start to the spring season come to a difficult halt against Liberty League rival Skidmore, losing 9-0, Saturday afternoon.
The Brewers, now 3-1 in the spring, will head to Orlando, Fla., for five matches starting with Cole College on Sunday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m.
The Thoroughbreds took the opening doubles competition with three narrow victories, each that were decidedly competitive. That momentum promped a strong singles showing where the Brewers were swept across the board, with No. 6 singles player
Joshua Jasso (Olmito, TX/James Price) playing two strong sets in defeat.
