CANTON, NY (November 22, 2009) -- The Vassar College men's squash team concluded its weekend against formidable Liberty League opponents dropping a 9-0 match to Hobart College on Sunday at St. Lawrence University's Robie Squash Center.
The Brewers (3-3) finished fourth in the Liberty League Championships and will next host Amherst College on December 5 at 1:00 p.m.
Despite the final score, the Brewers had some close matches, as senior captain No. 2
Arjun Agarwala took his opponent, Grant Palermo, to four games, eventually falling 11-5, 11-6, 9-11, 11-4. At No. 1, senior
Mehdi Naqvi also had a close loss, in a 11-7, 11-6, 11-5 decision.
