Hwang was a workhorse for the Brewers at the Liberty League Track & Field Championships, securing 15 of 71 team points herself for a third place Vassar finish. She placed 3rd in the javelin with a personal best 24.94, 3rd in the 400 meter hurdles (1:11.19), 5th in the 100 meter hurdles (17.21), 6th in the triple jump with a new personal best (9.44 meters), 9th in the 100 meter dash (14.75) and ran a leg of the 4 x 400 relay.
