Joe Conti was strong in his only outing of the week, as the junior hurler allowed just two hits over 6.0 innings of work, being pulled after tossing 72 pitches in a 16-2 win for VC over St. Lawrence in game one of Saturday's league doubleheader. Conti surrendered no runs and fanned seven hitters, to earn his second win of the season to move to 2-0.
