Sands scored the game-tying goal in the Liberty League Championships on Saturday, helping the Brewers to a 3-2 victory over Skidmore College to earn the program's second-ever Liberty League title. Sands was solid in the back as Vassar knocked off RPI Wednesday 3-1 to earn a place in the Liberty League final, and the junior buried a penalty in the second half to pull Vassar level at two.
