Freshman Sophie Blumenstock eanred Foil First Team All-Star Sunday afternon at the Eastern Women's Fencing Conference (EWFC) Championships, as she advanced all the way to the semifinals of the individual weapon tournament bracket. In the dual match portion, Blumenstock posted 11 wins to move into the bracket as the No. 10 seed. Once there, she earned two wins before falling in the semifinals.
