Junior Campbell Woods (Newport Beach, CA/Corona Del Mar), who was making his first fencing appearance as a Brewer in the Golden State, went 10-4 on the day. He started the afternoon by going 3-0 in the first round of the day against Incarnate Word, followed by winning one bout against Stanford. He then chalked up three victories against Cal Tech, registering a 1-1 mark against Air Force, finishing the day with two more triumphs over Incarnate Word in the final round.
