Lucy Brainerd helped the Vassar College women's soccer team earn a spot in the Liberty League Tournament last week, posting two goals including a huge insurance goal against Union College in a 2-0 victory over the Dutchwomen. Brainerd also struck earlier in the week against Bard College, but the goal against UC was crucial, as the win catapulted Vassar into the four-team, postseason tournament.
