Senior keeper Emma Nichols (Lexington, MA/Lexington) helped the Brewers to a 2-1 week, leading VC to shutout victories over Western Connecticut State University and Whitman College. Against WCSU, Nichols made six saves to help secure a 2-0 win for VC. Later in the week, Nichols fended off all eight shots that came her way in an overtime 1-0 win over Whitman. Nichols was strong in net against Stevens as well, stopping nine shots.
