Sophomore Michael Scarlett (Cambridge, MA/Cambridge Rindge and Latin) was once again stellar for the Brewers, leading Vassar to a fourth-place finish at the very competitive Saratoga Invitational, hosted by Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute. Scarlett finished 22nd overall with a time of 19:40.2, pacing the Brewers for the third consecutive race this season.
