Kurchin has returned from his semester abroard to make an immediate impact for the Brewer men's squash team. Kurchin helped Vassar College earn the H Division title at the CSA Championships this past weekend, going 3-0 on the trip while posting the championship clinching win at No. 7 Sunday in a five-set thriller over Bard's Olivia Cornali. In that match against Cornali, he twice rallied from being down a set, forcing a fifth game where he overcame a early deficit to come back and win 11-9 in the final to give the Brewers the championship.

Kurchin has won his last five matches on the season, and posts the team's best win percentage by going 5-1 on the year.
