Freshman Jesse Browne scored just two points in a 62-48 loss to Skidmore Friday night, but saved his heroics for Saturday afternoon against Union College. With Vassar trailing one in the waning moments, Browne drove to the lane, getting the hoop and the harm for the traditionally three-point play, putting VC up 69-67, a lead it would hold onto for the Liberty League win on Alumni Day. On the day, Browne finished with 14 points, two rebounds and three assists against the Dutchmen.Â
