Sophomore Alex Bello defended her medalist honors at the Ann S. Batchelder Invitational, hosted by Wellesley College, leading the Vassar College women’s golf team to a third place finish out of seven teams on Saturday. Bello shot a 79 to top the field of 42 and cap an impressive fall season. Bello finished in the top 20 in all five events Vassar competed in, with four top 10 finishes and three in the top four.
