Senior captain Karina Primelles started the season in style on Saturday, as she finished 3-0 in Division "C" of the Hudson Valley College Individual Tournament. Primelles was seeded No. 5, but opened the day with a straight set win over Olivia Cornali of Bard. Later in the day, she earned a gritty, come-from-behind five-set win over Bard's Asad Hashmi, before completing her perfect afternoon with a four-set win over teammate Sam Hammer.
