Willner captured the B Flight Singles Championship at the Wallach Tournament hosted by Bates College. He had three victories en route to the title, defeating Dan Gonzales of Amherst 6-1, 6-2 in Saturday's opening round. He won two Sunday matches, defeating Freddy Rozenshteyn of Brandeis 3-6, 7-5, 10-7 in the semifinals and Ryan Mannelly of Bates 6-2, 6-1 in the finals.
