Higgins more than doubled her season saves this past week. She also was faced with nearly half as many shots this past week as she has faced all season. Despite suffering a 4-2 loss to Western Connecticut State, Higgins managed 12 saves against the 22 shots. Higgins saved 13 shots out of the 28 total from the 2-1 loss to RPI on Saturday's Liberty League opener.
