Against powerful St. Lawrence, Nicol faced 52 shots, the second most this season, and made a career and season-high 20 saves. Nicol previous had 19 saves this season against Utica. For the season, he has had double figure saves in eight of nine games and currently ranks 9th in the country in saves per game (14.50).
